ACRYLIC NAILS

Acrylics are a combination of a liquid monomer and a powder polymer that forms a paste which is bonded to the natural nail. It’s then given the desired shape, where it hardens in place to add strength, length and thickness to the nail.

GEL NAILS

Gel nails are more similar to a classic polish manicure as there is no extension. Typically, a three step process which includes a gel base coat, gel polish colour then a gel top coat. In between each coat, the polish is cured by a UV or LED lamp for up to 2 minutes. Once cured, this layer of gel polish will harden, not smudge and result in an extra glossy finish.
